Built in honor of the founder of the city and inaugurated on September 12, 1981, is to highlight the pedestal of the statue with 28 meters of Juscelino, written by Honorius Peçanha. The decor and interior lighting create a magical and sober environment. In Mortuary Chamber, a circular room 10 meters in diameter, are the remains of Juscelino Kubitschek, the track jacket and presidential and other objects of the founder of the city, and parts of his political campaign badges, medals and plaques. Designed by Oscar Niemeyer, the Memorial has panels by Athos, stained glass by Marianne Peretti, research room and an auditorium for 310 people, where they project movies and photos on the construction of the city.
