Christmas in Curitiba
The charms of the months of November and December in Curitiba thrill. The reference city for business tourism and events, turns into a magic place at Christmas. The most famous dishes are turkey, French toast, fruit cakes, Christmas cake, roasted chestnuts, nuts, hazelnuts, almonds, raisins and several tropical fruits, such as mango and pineapple. Grapes are the most served fruit. Some say that eating dates at Christmas brings good luck.
Gifts are opened after dinner and the celebrations continue with many gifts and Christmas greetings. The next morning is to prepare for lunch. Many families leave the dinner served all Christmas day long with its additional Christmas special menu.
