Feira de Antiguidades
This Antique's Fair consists of 18 stalls selling various objects from collectors stamps, to pennants, to appliances from the 1960s and 1970s, to miniature cars, to toys and antique children's games. There is a treasure trove of antiques here.
It takes place at the Spain Square, and there several other activities that take place at the same time, such as a regular antique car show which has roughly 30 vehicles on display and open to the public.
For children, the mayor of Curitiba offers the project "Painting in the Square", an invitation to the little ones to put creativity on paper with ink. During the afternoon, there are yoga lessons and concerts by local bands.
Over all the event has a lot to offer, with a variety of activities and goods that won't be found elsewhere.
Depending on the time of day, there are various restaurants around this area offering a variety of cusines. The La Pasta Gialla has Italian food, while the Pata Negra Restaurante-Bar-Café offers International food, and for coffee and deserts there is Caffè Metrópolis.
From here, it's possible to walk over to the 24 hour street with it's 34 stores that are eternally open, or even up to the historic sector, where there is a good selection of historic buildings, and museums.
