Passauna Park
The park offers ecological walking trails and a biological station which had a previous life as a pottery factory. The trails are worth walking through and the station is definitely worth visiting. The video below shows the view from the station.
The park has the Passaúna river running through it and a large lake which is the by product of a dam.
From the high points of the park, it's possible to get a panoramic view of the area which is magnificent. The park is on the outskirts of the city, which makes it slightly more diffiuclt to reach and will likely require a taxi, or bike rental to get to. If you decide to visit this park, you might want to drop by re are several other parks in the area, Tropeiros Parque whichis actively used by the Gauchos. The Gauchos are the cowboys of Brazil and found only in Southern Brazil. Because of the size of this park and the general location of the park, there are fewer people than found in the most popular park, Barigui Parque, even so, it's a beautiful park to visit.
The park is 6.5 million square meters and located to the west of Curitiba. Almost 3.5 million square meters belongs to the lake however.
