In 1930, the Museum of Weapons was installed at Fort Sant 'Anna, built in 1761.
Military Police Colonel Antonio de Lara Ribas selected weapons seized in the state that have historic value or collection. Properly cataloged and sorted, the pieces are on permanent display, and exposed through a circuit chronological evolution of the trigger mechanism. This collection has increased gradually, and today is the main attraction of the museum is proud of the Military Police of Santa Catarina.
