Lagoinha is a beach and a neighborhood in the city of Florianopolis. It lies at the northern end of Santa Catarina Island, between two rocky points, Ponta das Canas to the west, and Praia Brava to the east.   The neighborhood and beach belong to the district of Cachoeira do Bom Jesus.

This area gets fewer swimmers than the beaches on either side, due to accessibility.  The two beaches on either side of Lagoinha Beach are considered easier to access and thus attract more swimmers.  Typically, this beach is more often visited by tourists from Argentina.  The water is calm and considered fairly warm for the area.

Historically, the area was used bye fishermen, natives and descendants of Azorean florianopolitanos, now it is primarily used for recreational use.
