Crowded on Saturdays and Sundays, Prainha Beach is best visited during the week when its rustic, quiet beachfront is perfect for walking and enjoying the many stalls selling snacks, beverages and andicraft.  At low tide, natural pools form which attract bathers and swimmers.  

A fun way to enjoy the beach is via a buggy ride, which starts at Park Beach.  Be sure to visit the Center of Rendeiras and observe the making of bobbin lace.  This beach is roughly 40 km from the center of Fortaleza so give yourself a bit of time to get here.
