With dunes, palm trees and several ponds in the vicinity, Cumbuco Beach is the perfect beach for some rest and relaxation.  The natural beauty, the wide strip of white sand and the tranquil blue oceans make it a great tourist destination. 

Like many beaches in the north east of Brazil, there are dune buggy tour operators available.  These tours will give you an adrenaline rush, and show you many of the local attractions as well.  The tours include stops at the Paranamirim lake and Banana lake.   For those looking for some water activities, both jet skiing and windsurfing are popular here.  Simply swimming in the warm ocean waters or sun bathing are great options as well.   The beach is roughly 30 kilometers from downtown Fortaleza.
