Description: Lago Joaquina Rita Bier

Designed by Leopoldo Rosenfeldt, this lake is a man made lake, originally made using hsovels and picks almost 70 years ago!  The park has roughly 17 thousand square meters, which is surrounded by summer homes, hotels, pine trees brought in from Germany that are over 70 years old, and a small island with miniture bridges that grant access to tourists.   Throughout the year it is frequented by tourists who enjoy the beauty and trails that surround the lake.  This lake serves as the backdrop for the performance of the show "Nativitaten" during the Natal Luz festival.   The park and lake are near downtown Gramado and within walking distance.
