The anniversary of the Farroupilha Revolution
It's not just Sept. 20 that it is a holiday in Rio Grande do Sul The Centers of Gaucho Tradition, TGCs, which exist in virtually all cities Rio Grande do Sul, and even in other states are preparing a series of celebrations for the Farroupilha week. They are scavenger hunts, barbecues (of course), Mass-style Creole (the name given to the inhabitants of the pampas in the past), themed parades, lectures and discussions.

The avenue Edvaldo Pereira Paiva was taken on the morning of Tuesday, 20 at FarroupilhaParade commemorating the Sept. 20, Day of the Gaucho. Mayor Joseph Fortunati accompanied the presentation and display civic-military Conservative horsemen picketed the state of 119, held from 9am to 12pm.
The mayor said that even with the rain since Monday night, the audience did not fail to accompany the celebrations that exalt the gaucho tradition. "The dedication of the gauchos here to reinforce the values and customs of our people shows how we are connected to our roots. It is very important that this story is passed on to future generations to continue building a decent future while honoring our worship and past, "said Fortunato.
Parade Theme - More than a thousand representatives of tradiocionalismo participated in the state last night, 19, alluding to the Parade Theme Week Farroupilha. Mayor Joseph Fortunati and First Lady Regina Becker followed the presentation, which this year was guided by the theme "Our Roots".
