Olinda is a municipality in the state of Pernambuco, in Recife Metropolitan Region, with 375,559 inhabitants, [3] is one of the best preserved colonial cities in Brazil. It was the second Brazilian city to be declared Historical and Cultural Patrimony of Humanity by UNESCO in 1982.
