Parque Nacional da Serra Catimbau. Old Catimbau Valley, was established by Decree 913/12 (2002), with 62,300 ha, ha in December 2002 in the state of Pernambuco. It covers the counties of Buíque, and Ibimirim Tupanatinga. Between the Wasteland and the backwoods of Pernambuco, the park is the second state. The first is that of Fernando de Noronha.
