Festival de Presépios

The Festival of Nativity was regarded by the public and the media as the best street art event in Rio de Janeiro in recent times. Was also considered as the largest exhibition of art full size cribs in the open world (verification request accepted by Guinness World Records, in an administrative proceeding of the conference), with unique works produced by Brazilian artists selected by the Curator of the exhibition, from National public call for submitting projects.

The cribs have at least six independent pieces, with a height of 2.5 m (a male figure standing) and some of them will be displayed individually, in all public places open at different points in the city of Rio de Janeiro, 24 days during the period of 02 to 25 December 2011.

There will be a large group of cribs exposed in the arena of the event in the Garden of Allah, which also have cultural and classical instrumental music, theatrical performances and folkloric performances, plus food court and other amenities that will make over 20 thousand square meters this garden a perfect place for recreation for families. The cribs exposed in the Garden of Allah will participate in the voting in the Manger Most Beautiful People in the electronic voting machine made on site on the Internet on this site.

In the Garden of Allah, in Ipanema, also other cultural events will be occurring, which is supported by the Festival of Nativity scenes, composed of "Santa's Village," with elaborate set design where cultural performances will take place with storytellers, puppet theater, and other , aimed at kids of all ages.

The event has numerous opportunities for excellent visibility to the brands corporate sponsors from various sectors, which will help democratize art and culture and beautify the city.
