Inaugurated on March 7, 1987, the Foundation was conceived and established with the objective of preserving and studying the work of the great novelist - has translated and edited successively in more than 49 languages ​​- and, by extension, art and culture of Bahia in all its manifestations. Its collection consists of works of the author, an extensive collection of photographs, videos, posters and objects related to the author and his works, as well as files of letters and documents. Hours: Mon to Sat. from 9h to 18h (except Tues until 18h).
