Arte Brasil-Estados Unido Museum

The Cultural Center Brazil - United States is a civil society in educational, cultural and social non-profit. It has, among its main objectives, the constant search for improved quality of services offered. In this sense, since December 2001, the CCBEU secured ISO 9001 certification in order to better serve society and is also the first English school in the region to receive such certificate.

Day 29 May 1991 marked the inauguration of the Edgar Contente Art Gallery of the Brazil United States Cultural Center. This initiative was born with a commitment to strengthen the dissemination and preservation of the cultural community, fulfilling the purpose sown at the Center since its founding in 1955.

Years later, on June 4, 1998, claim to have this gallery as a reference in the arts in our state, opened the Museum of Arts Brazil-United States - MABEU today the largest private museum of Pará.

Currently, MABEU has a collection of 800 works of art, including sculptures, paintings, drawings, photographs, and objects, all catalogued and secured in a technical reserved - room fully prepared to safeguard the works of natural weathering.

In this process, art and culture are very important in view of the objectives of cultural development of its students and is also important mechanisms of integration with Pará society.

The MABEU - Brazil - United States Art Museum is located at Travessa Padre Eutyches, 1309,  linked to the Cultural Center Brazil - United States (CCBEU).

Tuesday to Friday: from 9:00am to 12;  and 1:00pm to 7:30pm
Saturday: 9am to 12 noon.
