New Year´s Eve in Belo Horizonte
During the New Year celebrations, the capital of Minas Gerais have shows, the traditional fireworks display in the Pampulha Lagoon and the first edition of the New Year outdoors, in Andradas Avenue, in downtown Belo Horizonte. Interestingly, the two parties are carried out by two major television stations, TV and TV Globo Minas Alterosa, which promises to further polarize the fight for public preference.
On one side of the city, takes place 21 th edition of the show changed from fires at the edge of the Pampulha Lagoon and free entry. For years this was built a mega stage in clamshell - which will allow better visibility of the public, which may also provide attractions for screens placed in key points of the edge of the Pampulha Lagoon.
They will also be installed 350 chemical toilets at various points of the site and stalls of food and drink in the best spots for viewing the fireworks (Dalva Simon Square, Square Pampulha, Spillway - dam, Pampulha and small church near the House of Dance). A special security scheme was planned with military and civil police, Fire Department, and Municipal Guard BHTrans.
The traditional fireworks have a show schedule that starts at 20h in the presence of double hinterland and Don Juan, as of 23:30 for the countdown. Check out the full schedule:

In the center of Belo Horizonte, more precisely in Station Square, the Avenue of Andradas happens to the first edition of the New Year's Eve BH. The event, which also has free entry, is sponsored by TV Globo Minas and Playcorp. The party for New Year's Eve will be a huge structure, many special effects and will feature concerts by Alexandre Peixe, Pitty, Banda Calypso and Samba school Unidos da Tijuca. In addition, the celebration will be headlining the double hinterland Menotti & Fabiano, who will lead the countdown to the arrival of 2011 and will make a special show for the audience. The attractions of New Year's Eve BH will be complemented by a show of lighting in buildings surrounding the avenue. And the most exciting moment of the night, a huge fireworks display will light the skies of BH packed by a unique soundtrack and also various special effects. The celebration will occupy an area of 600 meters from Avenue Andrada, a straight stretch in front of the Station square. "The choice of location is because the avenue is one of the most important of Belo Horizonte and, especially, to be near train and subway stations, and bus lines that provide easy access," says Marcelo Flores, director Playcorp's.
