Parque Nacional Serra do Cipó
The Serra do Cipo is one of the most exuberant sets natural world and is located in the Espinhaço, Minas Gerais.
The Serra do Cipo is located in the state of Minas Gerais, just 100 km from state capital. Coordinates 43 º -44 º W, 19 º -20 º S. The main access is through the MG-10, passing through Lagoa Santa and San José de Almeida.

Its geological history is complex and time of the Precambrian period, with its sandy rocks that were formed by marine deposits more than 1.7 billion years.

To preserve this natural heritage, was the Parque Nacional da Serra do Cipo APA (Environmental Protection Area). Altogether there are 100,000 hectares of savannah, rocky fields and forests, and rivers, waterfalls, canyons, caves, archaeological sites preserved and many adventure sports.
