Description: Meireles Beach in Fortaleza

Walkways and Baordwalks line Meireles beach, with craft fairs, stalls and kiosks selling many goods. The area attracts quite a few tourists, as there are many hotels near by. The beaches have a good number of interesting rock formations, but the water is unfortunately polluted and not suitable for bathing in. However, the long seawall is very nice to just wander down on a warm afternoon with the coast breeze coming in.
