Description: The Music School in Rio de Janeiro
The oldest institution of musical education in Brazil. Located in the center of Rio de Janeiro, the School of Music is part of the Cultural Corridor of the city as neighbors with other important institutions like the Municipal Theatre, Sala Cecilia Meireles, the Museum of Image and Sound (11633), the State School of Dance and National Geographical and Historical Institute. It is framed by the promenade and the Arcos da Lapa, his building is listed by the Heritage Council.
