This urban beach has calm seas and a good set of huts which provide food, cold beverages and beer.  Jaguaribe is one of the most competitive beaches of Salvador, with whit sand and calm waters, and a walkway lined with coconut trees, this beach is considered one of the top three beaches in Salvador.   Tourists are attracted here in droves, and the nearby hotels ensure there are endless supplies of tourists for the beach. 

The beach includes surfing, kiosks, stalls, beach soccer, racquetball and volleyball.   There are even a few surfing championships held here with professional teams from Bahia competing.  Jaguaribe has three distinct stretches of beach: Jaguars, SESC and the Third Bridge.
