Description: Parque Nacional das Sempre-Vivas

The National Park of the Ever-Living is located in the Espinhaço, municipalities Eye waterline, Diamantina, and Buenópolis Bocaiuva in the state of Minas Gerais, Brazil. It has an area of 124,555 ha. The perimeter of the park is 169069.291 meters. It is administered by ICMBio.


The site hosts a large concentration of sources of tributaries Jequitinhonha river with beautiful waterfalls.

Noteworthy was the presence of a small flower commonly known as evergreen, which gave name to the park. According to studies, 70% of evergreens in the world are concentrated in this region.

In the park there are endangered animals such as jaguar, puma, maned wolf, giant anteater and giant armadillo.
