Gravata Beach
Description: Gravata Beach

Gravatá beach is located on the eastern Santa Catarina Island side, between the beach of Joaquina and Mole beaches, in Florianópolis.

Totally wild, the Gravatá inhospitable shore is one of the most virgin and beautiful of the city. The Praia do Gravatá is quite small, but at the end of it there is a little hill from where you can see a breathtaking scenery, the rough sea and waves breaking against the stone walls, and a privileged view.

Its access is through a trail of 1.4 km and takes about 30 minutes. Along the trail, at its highest point, amid lush vegetation, you can admire one most awesome view of Lagoa da Conceição, Mole Beach and Tavares river before walking down to the Gravatá small beach, itself.

The trail is not difficult,  just arriving on the beach is that the trail becomes very steep. The entrance to the trail is from Mole, just opposite the Parapente Sul School.

Location: East of the island of Santa Catarina, between the Mole and Joaquina beaches, Florianópolis.
