Opened on 19/06/2009, Teatro has Claude Barradas meet a demand of different aesthetic experiences in Performing Arts.

Situated in the central district of Bethlehem, the group formed by the University Theatre and the School of Theatre and Dance, UFPA, serves to contribute to the development of the Performing Arts in Pará Therefore, the University Theater in a space that is open to many groups art of the city and the region with which you can establish a rewarding practice.

The construction of the University Theatre Claudio Barradas works in the same space where the School of Theatre and Dance, an architectural heritage listed by the state, available to a community center Para teaching, research and extension aimed primarily at the performing arts. Located near the Plaza Brazil, now called Praça Santos Dumont in the neighborhood of Umarizal, has numerous bus lines, facilitating access to the theater.

The main entrance of the theater is facing the street Jeronimo Pimentel, where he is now a small, designed according to the concepts of accessibility, offers users the following services: coffee and a box office, panel metal frame available for posting posters and banners of the theater program of its users.
