Sao Paulo won back in 1998, one of the most traditional cultural spaces of the city, the Teatro São Pedro, in Barra Funda.


Since it opened its doors on January 17, 1917, the São Pedro Theatre, built by Portuguese immigrant Manuel Fernando Lopes, had an eclectic program, with sessions of the movies, vaudeville, operetta theater and concerts. In 1998, the theater was reopened, fully restored and modernized by the State Government of São Paulo, with the most advanced lighting and acoustics.

The Theatro São Pedro is listed by the Heritage History - Condephaaat.

It has air-conditioning and ventilation, as well as the Fire Brigade and automatic sprinklers that go off at the slightest hint of smoke.

Keyed recessed access ramp for the disabled, and space reserved for wheelchairs and adapted restrooms.

Recording technical aspects and safety before each event. It is forbidden to smoke in any of the dependencies.


The Theatro São Pedro has one room, divided into:
Audience - 396 seats
1st Balcony - 110 seats
2nd Balcony - 124 seats
06 places for disabled people in the audience (with 3 p / companions)
Total capacity: 636 seats.


It has four dressing rooms, including 2 for two groups and individual.
Has in place Peter Café, with coffee, drinks, snacks, sweets, among others. Open on all shows. Just as space launches and cocktail parties in the 2nd Balcony.
