Carne de Vaca Beach
Description: Carne de Vaca Beach

The proximity of the Goiana river with this beach makes the waters a bit darker here, compared with the blue and often transparent waters of beaches in this area.   The funny name of the beach, Carne de Vaca Beach means Meat of Cow Beach in Portuguese.

There is a village of fishermen nearby where some rustic restaurants reside, the infrastructure is poor here, but the area is growing fast.   Real estate is still very cheap in this area, but the prices are attracting many investors, which should greatly help improve the city and surrounding infrastructure.  Both Carne de Vaca and Ponta de Pedras Beach (10751) are in the city of Goiana, a city with a very rich history and whose attractions alone are worth a visit.   The beach is roughly 70 km from Recife with access via BR-101 and PE-49, right after Ponta de Pedras Beach (10751)
