Guadalupe Beach
Description: Guadalupe Beach

Calm waters, sand banks, coral reefs and several black rocks along Guadalupe Beach make up it's shoreline.   The calm waters provide an ideal place to harbor small boats, so there are frequently small boats anchored off shore here.    Tall coconut trees line the 3 km long stretch of beach, where few visitors frequent making it an ideal place to relax on the south coast of Pernambuco.

Along its length you can also see the presence of several summer houses, and a number of private luxury condos have been built here as well, which has made access to the beach a little more difficult.   At 80 km from Recife, it is primarily used by those who have homes along it's shoreline.  To the south, near Formoso River, there are vast coconut groves and then Carneiros Beach, while to the north there is Gamela Beach.
