Nossa Senhora do Ó Beach

This beach is just one mile long, but is filled with bars and kioskes. Near the center of Olinda, it´s visited by many olindenses for a bath and a beer.

Located in the municipality of Paulista - with more than a mile long - the beach of Nossa Senhora do O has the edge in its fine sand, coconut trees and undergrowth. With few reefs and open ocean, the site is considered suitable for bathing because of shallow sea.

Featuring rare waves on its shores, it is possible to encounter some boats anchored in the region. Besides the beautiful coastal landscape, tourists can see the Church of Nossa Senhora do Ó, dating from the nineteenth century. The place still has a good infraestrtura of bars, restaurants and hotels for those who crave tranquility and natural beauty.
