Serrambi Beach

The name means "Little Bay".  A small cove near the mouth of the river Maracaípe. Reefs, many trees, quiet waters, and areas of mangrove highlight this beach. 

Reefs all along. Several condos are being built, making access to the best beaches harder. Distance from Recife: 67 km.

A beach vacationers typically, Serrambi Maracaípe neighbor is that in our guide, is in Porto de Galinhas. Just when we reached the town of Porto de Galinhas, we take the right lane of a clay (12 km) it will take to the beach Serrambi. On the way, the Church of the Outeiro is high up, who is coming blessing.

Serrambi Beach does not have the buzz that his neighbor (Port of Chickens). It is a place to rest, relax and enjoy nature. Great for a walk in the evening or for a refreshing bath in natural pools formed by coral reefs, which give charm to this beach. Meet the "Piscininha", where part of the coral rocks over the water leaves forming a small pool when the tide gets dry. Boat trips will take you to see the wildlife sanctuary of Rio Serinhadm, with mangroves and a scenario that deserves to be in your photo album.

The depth Maracaípe is adjacent to the Rio meeting Maracaípe with the sea. You can also stop by Santo Aleixo Island, which lies a few miles Serrambi down a little to the south. The site is also recommended for the guys who are into diving, because in its clear waters and are found deep shipwrecks. They are vapors, galleons, sloops and cargo vessels provide a scenario for those who like to have a different view of the region.

For those who like to catch some waves, here is also the place, but it takes a little experience, because the stands of coral formations responsible for the waves. Great to come take a relaxed with family or simply someone you like, Serrambi will not disappoint you.
