Salvador City Park
Important preservation area of Atlantic Forest, Joventino Silva City Park (Parque da Cidade) has been completely revitalized in 2001. The name is a tribute to the former owner of the area that was donated by him for mayor in the 70s. Since the works, the site offers 720,000 meters square of green area in the center of town.
Among the main attractions for visitors, is the Hall of Flowers, which has 46 beds with more than 5,000 seedlings. Besides nature, the area stands out for having attractions for all ages. For children there are toys available in the playground.
Sport lovers, was designed a jogging track of 4,000 square meters in length, involving the perimeter of the park. The infrastructure also houses an amphitheater (pictured) who receives presentations of shows and plays outdoors, medical center, parking and living areas.
