The international airport of Salvador da Bahia is the largest in the northeast of Brazil, is one of the largest in the country. Serves cabotage flights to almost all major destinations in Brazil and also operates several international destinations such as Latin America, United States, Europe and Israel. Buses and taxis connect the airport to the city center. Buses run frequently and are cheap. Taxis are often not economic. See the fare before taking the taxi. In turn, some buses go to the bus station, located 5 km away.
