The Serraria (Sawmill) Souza Pinto is one of the most attractive cultural venues and events in Belo Horizonte. Registered by the State Institute of Historical and Artistic Heritage of Minas Gerais, the building, dated 1912, is part of the architectural Rui Barbosa Square (Station Square).

Prime property in the metal structure of Belo Horizonte, housed the famous Serra, who worked as factory and warehouse clubs building materials going into decline in the 70's, when it hosted a lot of vehicles.

Expropriated by the government of Belo Horizonte, was renovated and modernized, making it a multipurpose space for events and cultural house. With 5000 m2 of built area the Souza Pinto sawmill has the capacity to host events with up to 5 thousand people, receiving an average of 200 thousand people per year.
