Palácio da Alvorada
Located on the shores of Lake Paranoa, the Alvorada Palace is the official residence
of the President. Its columns are the city's symbol, used in his coat. Designed by architect Oscar Niemeyer inaugurated on 06.30.1958. First masonry building in Brasilia. In front of the Palace there are two sculptures: "The Laras' of Ceschiatti, and" Rhythms of Rio "by Maria Martinez. Beside, a chapel with a facade of Athos.
