Eight miles of thin white sand and dunes, this beach is located where the Pacoti river borders the cities of Fortaleza and Aquiraz. It is 24 kilometers from downtown Fortaleza.

It offers dozens of stalls where travelers can spend the day snacking and enjoying the sun, buggy rides and boating nearby. Extension of Praia do Futuro, the beach is also known as Cofeco Beach, name of a famous club there. Dishes based on seafood are a local specialty. Nibbling at the stalls, practice sandboarding on the dunes, boat rides, a jump in Beach Park, located in nearby Porto das Dunas.

In recent times, was discovered and became famous among the practitioners of kitesurfing and windsurfing, which give a show of skill.

At the end of the beach is the mouth of the Pacoti river, where several banks are composed of sand bathed by both the freshwater and the salt. Just by not having a good infrastructure to receive tourists Abreulândia Beach is not one of the most sought after, trade is very small and has no hotel chain.

The beach access is on Avenida Manoel Mavignier.
