In the city of Ceará is located Ubajara the smallest national park in Brazil. Ubajara National Park was created in 1959 to protect samples of savanna and tropical forest in the interior of Ceará, and caves and caverns. The place gets its name because of the cave Ubajara, the main tourist attraction of the place. The region offers a very pleasant climate and plenty of green area with lush vegetation. Ideal for those who want a more intimate contact with nature. There are variety of trails - in the midst of rich flora and fauna - and some options for mountain sports. Ubajara is a simple place with several villages. One of the main attractions of the city is the ride to the peak of the Ipu. A variety of must-see attractions such as the Outback Bica, 2 km from the city center. The eco-tour is the most sought after. At the end you can take a refreshing bath in Bica, flavored waters in the mountains. In addition, the site offers visitors a look enviable. A beautiful waterfall, the Bica do Ipu is one of the most privileged of the State for the rappel. There is a cable car which takes visitors to the park main attraction, the Ubajara Cave. It is also possible a 3 hours trekking to the famous cave.
The entrance to the park costs R$ 2.00 per person, and the trolley, which starts up at 10:00 am, R$ 4.00 per adult and R$ 2.00 per child.
