Forte do Brum

Forte do Brum is a fort built in 1626 by the Portuguese and completed in 1630 by the Dutch invaders.

Then in 1654, the Dutch were expelled and the Portuguese rebuilt it.

It is currently a military museum where are exposed arms, ammunition and uniforms from the time of the Dutch invasion up to nowadays.

It is worth visiting as it is a building that has everything to do with the story of Recife and disputes between the Portuguese and Dutch in Brazilian territory.
