Cultural Market is a monthly event focused on crafts, culture, gastronomy and leisure, held the second Saturday of each month along Market Street in the heart of Traditional Cultural Corridor of the City of Rio de Janeiro.

Considered a historic site because it retained royalty and served as a cradle for the political transformations in Brazil, Praça XV became a refuge for those who enjoy the wonderful houses and visit dozens of tourist attractions, such as churches, museums, cinemas, theaters , Cultural centers and art galleries. The Cultural Market joined the effervescence, from 2008, with the creation of the Polo Square XV, involving companies of gastronomy, history and culture with the aim of promoting the revitalization of the region, bringing tourists and locals to spend time in Historical Center.
