A must-see event is the Porto da Barra Delights (Delícias do Porto da Barra) craft and food fair, an event with a partnership with Institute of Crafts Visconde de Maua. (11772)

The fair gathers cooks selling the delicacies of typical Bahian cuisine and artisans. The diverse menu features from enhanced dishes, such as "feijoada" (typical Brazilian dish prepared with black beans with a variety of salted pork and beef products) to meat snacks as the sun dried meat with mashed casava, stuffed pancakes, pastries fried on the spot, and the traditional kebabs "acarajé". In addition, there is a variety of legitimate art produced in the state, between basketry and weaving, home utilities, clothes, handbags, jewelry, crochet and souvenirs. All listening to good music and with a privileged view over the Bay of All Saints (Baía de Todos os Santos).

The Delícias do Porto da Barra Fair is held on Fridays and Saturdays afternoons at Largo do Porto da Barra starting at 3:00 pm.
