Trianon Park
Also called Lieutenant Siqueira Campos, the Trianon Park has an area of 48.600m ². Besides its most famous Trail of the Faun, it also offers the visitors an aviary, playgrounds, exercise equipment, walking and jogging track. The highlight is the "Faun" sculpture by artist Victor Brecheret and Arethusa Francisco Leopoldo Silva.
The Parque Tenente Siqueira Campos features 38 identified species, of which 29 are birds. Among the endemic Atlantic Forest great variety of species, the park is also visited by birds of the nearby greenland such as the thrush-smith noted for its beautiful vocalization. The frog "piadeira", an endemic species of Atlantic Forest can be heard in the park. Despite being a central park, it is home to some species of bats. Remnants of the Atlantic Flora and exotic species are to be admired.
In the early 1910's was built on the spot where now stands the MASP, a gazebo with project architect Ramos de Azevedo, who was known as the Trianon. During the 1920s and '30s, the Parque Trianon was frequented by intellectuals from São Paulo the park gazebo and became a symbol of wealth of the elite of São Paulo and formed a harmonious integrated whole.
