Augusta Theatre
Opened in 1999, the Augusta Theatre (formerly Augusta Auditorium) completely restructured after a complete renovation, which included architectural design of Cyrus Pirondi. The new space offers comfort, safety, acoustics, air-conditioning, easy access, a café / bar, art gallery, two concert halls, water winter garden, ample space in the hall to accommodate the public, disabled access, ticket computerized parking agreements.
History
Founded in October 1973 and called 'Auditorium Augusta,' the Brazilian theater scene opened its doors to a space that had a vocation to innovate, resist culturally and make a high quality theater. Early in its activities, received the award from APCA scenic area.
